Job Summary
As the Payments Manager for our Petcare vertical solution, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the payments function of our business. As a member of the leadership team, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership, and drive initiatives to optimize pricing, profitability, and customer satisfaction within our integrated payments platform. You will oversee all aspects of the payments function, including partnerships, integrations, revenue, activation and customer support. You will work closely with our processing partners to understand their offering, their operations, and their roadmap to maximize the key KPIs of our payments business.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership for the Payments function, aligning departmental goals with company objectives and market trends.
- Payments Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive Payments strategies, including pricing models, forecasting, and long-term planning to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Financial Oversight: Conduct regular financial reviews and residuals analysis of Payments performance, identifying key drivers and opportunities for improvement.
- KPI Ownership: Measure and report on payments KPIs regularly, ensuring that we are on track to hit budget goals.
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with sales and account management teams to support pricing negotiations and ensure pricing strategies align with customer needs and market dynamics.
- Operational Excellence: Drive operational efficiencies within Payments processes, leveraging data analytics and business intelligence tools to enhance decision-making and optimize resource allocation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory changes affecting Payments processing and ensure adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3+ year of experience in Finance, Data Management, or other business-related discipline
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Payments-related roles, with a strong understanding of integrated payment processing within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Strong grasp of data analysis, leveraging data systems and reporting tools, with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Highly proficient user of Excel and Business Intelligence tools
- Self-starter who takes initiative to improve process and evolve operational reporting
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, working across the organization with key stakeholders to provide decision support
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and frequently changing priorities
- Superior quantitative, analytical, and modeling skills
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Sisense; Power BI (major plus)

Salary Range Disclosure
The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.
Salary Range
US Remote: $70,000 to $75,000 USD per year
