What You’ll Do:
Typeface is seeking an exceptional Product Marketing Leader to shape our narrative, define our category, and ensure a direct connection between product strategy, messaging, and revenue. This is a foundational 0-to-1 leadership role for a customer-obsessed builder who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, product, and sales enablement. You’ll be responsible for driving market education, ensuring our voice reflects customer needs, and equipping our sales team with the tools to win — all while using AI to inform and accelerate strategy. 

This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to the CMO, where you’ll manage a small but mighty product marketing team while partnering closely with product, sales, customer success, and demand gen. As an AI-first company, we’re looking for someone who can leverage AI workflows to move quickly, scale thoughtfully, and build a category-defining brand from the ground up. 

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Category & Narrative Leadership: Define and evolve Typeface’s positioning, messaging, and category narrative. Educate both internal teams and the market on our differentiation and value.
  • Voice of the Customer: Act as the advocate for our customers across the business. Gather insights through direct conversations, research, and feedback loops, and use them to influence product roadmaps and GTM priorities.
  • Go-to-Market Ownership: Lead launch strategy for new products and features, from 0→1 introductions to early scaling. Build the stories, collateral, and enablement that ensure market traction.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip sales with compelling & differentiated messaging, competitive insights, and tools to accelerate deal cycles. Partner closely with revenue teams to align pipeline strategy and close the loop with product.
  • Early Scaling Focus: Translate early customer wins and feedback into repeatable GTM motions. Build the playbooks and frameworks that allow Typeface to scale efficiently while maintaining category leadership.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of two product marketers. Set clear goals, coach for growth, and build a culture of scrappy, high-impact execution. 

What You Bring: 

  • 10+ years in product marketing with 3+ years in a leadership role. Proven track record of driving 0→1 launches and early-stage scaling in SaaS, B2B, or AI companies.
  • Skilled at building category narratives, defining product positioning, and leading GTM strategy for emerging technologies.
  • Excellent storytelling, writing, and presentation abilities with the power to influence at all levels. Strong partnership skills across product, sales, and customer success.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to uncover insights, accelerate workflows, and shape go-to-market strategy.
  • Hands-on builder and people manager who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and knows how to turn customer insights into company-wide impact.
  • Deep understanding of generative AI and the marketing tech landscape; experience with enterprise SaaS/AI and category creation. 

Base Salary 
The salary range for this role is $180,000-$210,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process.
