Thrive is seeking a hands-on Business Development Associate to join the high-growth, fast-paced, and driven team. The chosen candidate will focus on lead generation, prospecting, relationship building, pipeline management, and target achievement, while being enthusiastic about the physical therapy space and a team player.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Primarily generate leads through cold calling efforts
- Support other lead generation efforts such as conference attendance, marketing campaigns etc.
- Build deep pipeline of future acquisition opportunities
- Outbound prospect qualification and company research
- Manage and maintain prospect database ensuring accuracy and integrity
- Work closely with business development team to progress leads through the deal cycle
- Assist in marketing campaigns
- Manage outbound mailing program and track response rates
- Assist in additional administrative tasks as needed
- Be a team player in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development roles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with business owners.
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-oriented approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales productivity tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn about new industries, products, or services.
- Knowledge of market research techniques and industry analysis is a plus
- Local to the Chicago, IL area/willing to relocate
Compensation
- Base salary of $55,000 plus uncapped commission potential with OTE of around $75-85K
