Signature Dental Partners (SDP) is an established and respected private equity backed dental support organization (DSO) providing affiliated dentists in the Southwest, Mountain and Pacific Northwest regions with proven non-clinical business support functions. This non-clinical support allows dentists to spend more time and attention on patient care rather than burdensome administrative functions. Affiliated dentists benefit from professionally managed non-clinical support services such as human resources, payor relations, group purchasing, vendor management, capital investments, staff management, recruiting, finance, marketing, and information systems.
We are seeking a VP of Revenue Cycle who will work closely with the SDP leadership team and oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle for each dental location. This includes developing and implementing strategies, processes and technologies to continuously improve and manage the revenue cycle in a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-site healthcare setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, direct and oversee operations and activities for all RCM functions (including but not limited to credentialing, insurance verification, payment posting, patient A/R, payer negotiations, automation strategies etc.) aligned to the goals of the business
- Lead the development and implementation of revenue cycle strategies, processes and improvement initiatives to continuously improve the RCM process to maximize our billings and collections
- Determine the structure of the revenue cycle management team and locations to maximize RCM operations and cost
- Ensure compliance in all aspects of RCM activities including coding and billing rules and regulations by payer and state. Responsible for monitoring and responding to any legislation/regulatory billing changes
- Drive the design, execution, monitoring and assessment of key RCM performance metrics to refine processes and improve efficiencies/productivity to reduce overall costs
- Develop key relationships with payers and industry leaders to respond to trends in the dental industry to drive any necessary changes or improvements in revenue cycle management activities
- Responsible for building and designing a high-performance management team by function and infrastructure to scale with the projected sales growth of the business
- Prior management experience and experience building a team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field
- 10+ years of experience working with small to mid-size multi-location companies, preferably in healthcare
- 1+ years of experience at the Director or VP level
- Healthcare industry experience in billing and collections
- Experience building and implementing process improvement projects specific to revenue cycle management
- Experience in building and designing team structure
- Must be able to multi-task and meet agreed upon deadlines
- Local to Phoenix preferred, not required
