We are seeking a Business Development Associate to join our high-growth, fast-paced home service support and partnership organization Trusted Home Service Partners (THSP). This candidate will generate and qualify partnership opportunities across key markets, build and maintain relationships with business owners, and collaborate with internal teams to shape and execute THSP’s partnership strategy in high-growth markets.
This is a fast-paced, autonomous and entrepreneurial role suited for someone who is energized by outreach, relationship-building, and the opportunity to directly contribute to a growing platform. We seek a self-starter who takes the initiative to add value to the team.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outbound strategies to engage business owners through channels such as phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Work closely with business development team to progress leads through the deal cycle
- Leverage online tools and databases to identify and compile high-potential acquisition prospects
- Evaluate potential opportunities against defined investment criteria to determine strategic alignment
- Share market insights and prospective deals with internal team members to support decision-making
- Tackle ad hoc initiatives related to sourcing efficiency and pipeline tracking
- Collaborate effectively in a fast-based, entrepreneurial environment, contributing to a culture of teamwork and adaptability
- Assist in additional administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development roles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with business owners
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Results-oriented approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales productivity tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously
- Adaptability and willingness to learn about new industries, products, or services
- Knowledge of market research techniques and industry analysis is a plus
- Local to the Dallas, TX area/willing to relocate
- Ability to commute to the Downtown Dallas area 5 days /week
Compensation
- Base salary of $55,000 plus uncapped commission potential with OTE of around $75-85K
