About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Trial Counsel with a strong background in construction defect litigation. This role is ideal for a seasoned trial attorney who thrives in high-stakes litigation and is ready to lead trial teams, develop case strategies, and deliver winning results.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle high-stakes construction defect cases from inception to resolution.
- Serve as lead trial counsel in complex litigation matters.
- Develop and execute strategic defense approaches to protect clients from Nuclear Verdicts®.
- Mentor and collaborate with litigation teams, ensuring strong case strategy and execution.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients, maintaining strong relationships and trust.

Who You Are
8+ years of trial experience in construction defect and insurance defense litigation.
Proven courtroom success, with a strong track record in complex litigation.
Exceptional case management skills, handling high-exposure matters.

- Develop a case theme that is more compelling than any plaintiff ploy for sympathy or anger
- Refuse to accept mediocrity, the average, the standard or the norm in anything
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs and trials
- Work as part of a team with all levels of experiences
- Routine communications with clients
- Cultivate relationships with the firm’s existing and future clients
- Provide leadership and direction with respect to less experienced attorneys
- JD from an ABA approved school
- Must be licensed in your state
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition and trial preparation
- 3+ years of construction defect experience
- Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial
- Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred
- Experience with time management systems
- Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision
- Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range
$150,000 - $190,000 USD
