Associate Manager - Transportation Management
About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Manager, Operations based in our Center of Excellence in Exton, PA. In this role, you will lead day-to-day operational execution for a high-volume transportation account while driving service excellence, cost performance, and operational efficiency.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, this role will oversee the operations team and collaborate closely with internal partners to ensure strong operational execution.
This role plays a key part in supporting team performance, maintaining operational processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring strong service delivery and cost management.

What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day operational execution for the customer
- Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve processes, service, cost efficiency, and profitability
- Drive performance related to cost savings, cost avoidance, and on-time service delivery
- Manage and develop team members through coaching, mentoring, 1:1s, and performance reviews
- Monitor operational metrics and ensure accountability across team responsibilities
- Develop and distribute customer reports and internal performance dashboards
- Maintain and update Transportation Management Systems (TMS) including rates, routing guides, and operational configurations
- Provide rate quotes and operational guidance across transportation modes
- Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Success, Planning, and Operations
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and carrier partners
- Apply logistics expertise across modes, rates, weights, volumes, pallets, and shipping requirements
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience working with Truckload and LTL transportation
- 4+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience working with logistics systems and operational data
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Logistics, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of logistics, transportation, or customer operations experience
- 2+ years of leadership or people management experience
- Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and operational reporting tools
