We are seeking a Vendor Sourcer to support the rapid identification and qualification of training vendors across Egypt to support practical sessions as part of Udacity programs in the region. This is a short-term, contract-based role (4–6 weeks), ideal for individuals with strong local knowledge and networks who can proactively connect with organizations and gather structured information.

Vendor Sourcers will play a critical role in ensuring we have a robust pipeline of vendor partners who can provide both physical centers and qualified trainers ahead of the program launches in November 2025.


Key Responsibilities :


Market Mapping & Outreach 
●  Research and identify potential vendors, including training providers, universities, NGOs, coworking networks, and educational institutions. 
●  Reach out to organizations by phone, email, or in person to introduce the program and gauge interest. 
●  Build an initial database of potential vendors in assigned governorates. 
 
Vendor Qualification 
●  Collect structured information on vendor capacity, geographic reach, available centers, trainer pools, and pricing models. 
●  Use standardized checklists and forms to ensure consistency across submissions. 
●  Capture photos and supporting documents where possible. 

Coordination & Reporting
● Deliver weekly updates on outreach progress and vendor leads generated.
● Recommend at least 10 vendors for follow-up by the central team.


Qualifications:

● Strong local knowledge and networks in Egypt
● Experience in business development, outreach, community engagement, or market research preferred.
● Confident communicator in Arabic (required); conversational English proficiency preferred.
● Comfortable making calls, scheduling visits, and engaging with organizations of different sizes.
● Reliable access to phone, internet, and transportation for site visits.
● Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to follow structured processes. 


Contract Details: 

● Commitment: 15–20 hours per week, for 6 weeks (October–November 2025).
● Location: Egypt
● Compensation: Short-term contract package with base retainer + performance bonus per qualified vendor lead. 
● Qualified = complete form, contact verified, meets minimum program criteria (venues + trainer pools).
