Hybrid work

Udemy is headquartered in San Francisco with global offices in Australia, India, Ireland, Türkiye, and other US locations. Our robust hybrid work model spans San Francisco, Denver, Ankara, Dublin, Mexico City and Melbourne. This hybrid position requires two days per week in the office at the nearest hub.

About this role

As an Account Development Representative, you’ll play an integral role in expanding our footprint in the EdTech space to achieve Udemy’s mission of becoming the #1 learning organization in the world.

You will be strategizing with your paired Account Executives, reaching out to Fortune 1000 companies, and providing valued insights and stories that showcase Udemy Business’s unique value proposition. 

With a plethora of innovative sales automation tools at your fingertips, you will become a prospecting master, continually learning new skills that will prepare you for a long and illustrious career in sales (or any path you decide to take). What you'll be doing

  • Building pipeline across the Americas Enterprise business leveraging multiple sales channels to drive high-impact conversations: phone, email, LinkedIn, and gifting in partnership with our ABM team.
  • Becoming a powerful storyteller that clearly and confidently conveys Udemy Business value across our key customers and across leaders who are new to the Udemy brand.
  • Leveraging the most in-demand sales tools to drive efficiency, review key metrics and optimize processes (Salesloft, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Qualified, Orum, Gong).
  • Collaborating with Account Executive partners to identify key buying signals and to develop a strong action plan to build brand awareness and set meetings.
  • Mastering core sales skills: Call effectiveness, time management, territory planning and execution, sales tools and digital strategy.
  • Embracing the opportunity to enhance Udemy’s inclusive culture by championing yourself and the wins of others in a hybrid environment.

What you’ll have 

  • While this work is based more on the skills a person has than what they have done, we think a typical profile could include the following: 
  • Strong experience in a customer-facing role and an interest in a future career in sales
  • Experience with 1+ year of lead qualification, business development or similar skills and a track record of success 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • A growth mindset that is recognizable by your peers

By effectively managing your pipeline and following established processes, you will maximize your productivity and increase your chances of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

At Udemy, we strive to be transparent around compensation. Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits, equity and uncapped OTE.

OTE Compensation Range

$69,000 - $81,000 USD
