Hybrid work
Udemy is headquartered in San Francisco with global offices in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, Türkiye, and other locations. Our robust hybrid work model spans San Francisco, Denver, Ankara, Dublin, and Melbourne. This hybrid position requires two days per week in the office at the nearest hub (Mexico City). About your skills

Consulting: You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business objectives into technical execution, and guide stakeholders on the best approach to personalized, scalable campaigns.

About this role
This role focused on building, personalizing, and optimizing cross-channel marketing campaigns across email, push, in-app, and more. You’ll serve as both a technical expert and strategic partner—collaborating across teams to deliver engaging customer experiences. With high visibility and impact, this role offers the opportunity to lead innovation in automation, segmentation, and campaign performance at scale.
What you'll be doing:

Develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships with stakeholders and team members.

Gather and document requirements, understand campaign flows logic, apply/build attributes and events, and define timelines as per SLAs.

Define audience segments based on business needs and set up appropriate audiences, attributes, and event triggers for personalized email campaigns.

Implement different kinds of marketing programs in a cross-channel campaign (Email, Push Notification, In App Messaging, Webhook, WhatsApp).

Build dynamic, mobile-responsive emails/content blocks, from scratch using HTML5 and CSS3.

Implement Liquid/Java Script to create targeted and relevant personalization in emails.

Monitor email programs to ensure deliverability to a global customer base.

Contribute to the project management of email campaigns in the PM tool, Asana.

Contribute to lifecycle, promotions, and trigger-based programs.

Collaborate to coordinate coverage, allocate work, and manage bandwidth.

Utilize Validity to proof email campaigns to ensure correct design and device rendering.

Troubleshoot issues or errors that may arise pre- or post-launch.

Work with several partner teams, including Brand, Product, Engineering, and Data Science, to assist in improving email marketing sophistication through automation and personalization.

Monitor trends, analyze data, and optimize marketing campaigns.

Identify marketing process improvement opportunities..
What you’ll have
-
6+ years of technical email marketing experience.
-
Worked as Subject Matter Expert in any of the leading Marketing Automation Tool such as Braze, Adobe Campaign, Marketo, and Adobe Experience Cloud or any other similar tool.

Solid experience in HTML and CSS, with the ability build email from scratch and troubleshoot coding bugs.

Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues, code solutions, and email best practices.

Familiarity with email marketing concepts, deployment, and implementation.

A drive to improve processes and increase operational efficiencies.
-
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Extensive experience in QA’ing content, audience, and automation.

Ability to monitor post-launch campaign success and work to escalate and resolve any issues.

Knowledge of email best practices, A/B testing, and CAN-SPAM laws, and the ability to bring new and innovative ideas to the team.

Experience using email optimization tools to proof email templates for device rendering.

A passion for learning, developing, and testing innovative email personalization techniques and formats.

Hiring Compensation Range
$640,000 - $800,000 MXN
