Role Description

From day one, you will be making fundamental contributions to our growing suite of AI applications.

This role requires someone who is comfortable up and down the web and/or mobile development stack, and is equally happy writing code and architecting software apps. You will work alongside our team of AI researchers, engineers, and designers who have built an engineering culture of fun, excellence and creativity.

Imagine working on a groundbreaking feature that leverages AI to help creators seamlessly generate harmonies, experiment with new genres, or even collaborate with virtual musicians. Core Technical Competencies

The following competencies suggest you'll be a good candidate for this role. You don't need to meet all the criteria below, but the more you meet the better!

  • Industry experience building full-stack web applications, especially consumer apps or music related apps
  • Strong ability to create modern, performant, scalable web/mobile apps from scratch
  • Implementing best practices for deploying production systems on AWS, GCP, or other cloud providers
  • Extensive experience with modern JavaScript/Typescript libraries,  tooling, and frameworks (e.g. React, React Native, Next.js)
  • Fluency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
  • Experience mentoring and managing junior engineers (for a senior level role)
  • [Bonus] Launch of an app to the Apple and/or Google app stores. Even better if it gained significant traction!
  • [Bonus] Experience with animation libraries (web or mobile)
  • [Bonus] Strong interest in frontend performance and testing
  • [Bonus] Python or Go knowledge

This role is eligible for a compensation package of base salary, equity, and benefits. The starting base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $220,000. Actual salary may vary based on level, work experience, performance, and other factors evaluated during the hiring process.
