Opportunity 

This is an opportunity to be part of the growing Channel Sales Organization at UJET. We are looking for an exceptional person to help support the achievement of the team and wider strategic business goals.

The role reports to the VP of Channel with a focus on managing our Partnerships with Strategic Technology Services Distributors (TSD’s) and their Technology Advisors & Partners. The Channel Sales Organization works directly with partners and the UJET sales team to generate revenue by executing channel programs to drive net new Customer opportunity and pipeline growth.  This quota-carrying role is responsible for Partner engagement strategy, acquisition of new partners, pipeline growth and forecasting within the accounts.  This is a field based role that will be located remotely in the US. UJET is looking for a self-motivated high performer who is a team player, partner centric, accountable and seeks to consistently over achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

As a UJET National Channel Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with an assigned Technology Services Distributor to identify the in-market CX/AI-focused partners to drive mindshare, pipeline growth & UJET Sales.
  • Develop and build fiscal quarter and annual strategy. Report on, manage and execute on mutually agreed upon KPIs.
  • Initiate quarterly QBRs to measure success and trends within assigned TSD / Strategic partnerships.
  • Develop relationships internally and externally. Build and strengthen relationships with partner leadership and stakeholder business units throughout TSD or Partner organization
  • Aligning the regional sales organizations with relevant partners through targeted demand generation and alignment activities
  • Driving internal resources to provide partner enablement activities such as co-marketing, events, trainings, networking, etc.
  • Aligning yourself internally with  the UJET sales executives and sales leadership to drive toward a common strategy and achievement of sales goals
  • Recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring Channel Sales Managers within Region as UJET grows
  • Provide TSD and Partners with support. Manage and serve as the escalation path to ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Drive mindshare through regular communications and collaboration. Provide accurate and detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed quota requirements
  • Tracking forecasting and sales process alignment to ensure progression of opportunities to closure
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including SE organization, product marketing, sales, marketing, operations, etc.) to deliver a world class experience for partners
  • Tracking and holding the partners and the stakeholders accountable to agreed upon goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to align field and sales human resources for higher close rates. Create plans in conjunction with Marketing and Sales to increase deal registrations and pipeline
  • Travel is required for coverage of partner meetings, events, networking, etc.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 7-10+ years of technology sales and channel sales experience. With Experience selling Contact Center as a Service & related Artificial Intelligence capabilities preferred
  • Experience building and managing multiple partner relationships. Experience within the Technology Services Distributor community required.
  • A balanced blend of strategic thinking to set the direction of our cloud business with the execution skills to make it happen
  • Understanding of opportunity qualification, running a deal cycle and forecasting.  Previous experience with strategizing & implementing a pipeline growth plan is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape
  • Ability to recruit, develop and build Go to Market plans with TSD’s & top partners.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Interface at all organizational levels maintaining strong working relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to be successful

Qualifications

  • Prefer 5+ years experience selling through the TSD and Technology Advisor Channel
  • Prefer 5+ years experience selling channel contact center solutions with a focus on Contact Center-as-a-Service (CCaaS) & AI solutions
  • Strong relevant partner relationships within TSD community
  • Working knowledge of salesforce.com
  • Strong communication, presentation, organization and teaming/relationship skills

Annual US Hiring Range: $140,000 - $150,000 + variable

*A candidate’s actual placement within this range will depend on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
