This is a national role based in Gaza and open to nationals only.

Are you passionate about learning, training and strengthening healthcare capacity in Gaza while supporting a high-impact humanitarian response?

UK-Med is a frontline medical aid charity. Born of the British National Health Service, we’ve been working for over 30 years towards a world where everyone has the healthcare they need when crises or disasters hit.

We are seeking a motivated Training Coordinator to lead the coordination and delivery of training and capacity building activities across UK-Med’s programme in Gaza. This is a national post open to Palestinian nationals only.

Working closely with clinical teams in Gaza, UK-Med leadership, and our Learning & Capacity Building team, you will coordinate training schedules, support the delivery of high-quality learning activities, maintain training records, and help ensure staff have access to the knowledge and skills needed to deliver safe and effective healthcare. You will also play a key role in identifying training needs, supporting curriculum development, coordinating faculty and subject matter experts, and ensuring training activities are well documented and continuously improved.

Our ideal candidate will have experience coordinating training, education, capacity building or professional development activities, preferably within healthcare, humanitarian or NGO settings. You will be highly organised, confident managing multiple priorities, and able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience facilitating learning activities, maintaining training records and supporting quality assurance processes would be highly desirable.

You will be collaborative, proactive and passionate about supporting the development of others. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Fluency in both Arabic and English will be an asset.

We offer excellent learning and development opportunities and the chance to play a key role in strengthening healthcare capacity and supporting life-saving humanitarian work in Gaza.
