Are you a skilled humanitarian operations professional with a strong track record of managing field-based logistics, programme administration, and donor coordination in complex emergency settings?
UK-Med is a humanitarian NGO providing emergency health support to populations affected by crises and disasters. We deliver clinical care, training, and capacity-building to strengthen local health systems, with a growing portfolio of programmes responding to conflict, natural disasters, and disease outbreaks.
As a key partner of the UK Emergency Medical Team (UK EMT), we work closely with FCDO and WHO, while also expanding our own programming footprint. With active or recent responses in Ukraine, Gaza, Malawi, and Turkey, our work spans trauma care, infectious disease response, health systems strengthening, and emergency medical facility deployment.
We are now seeking an Operations Coordinator to support our Gaza response – a dynamic, fast-paced programme delivered in collaboration with multiple partners. You will coordinate field operations, support grant management and business development, manage administrative workflows, and ensure UK-Med’s deployment and compliance systems run smoothly across Amman and Gaza.
You will bring a solid background in humanitarian field operations, excellent coordination skills, and experience in supporting grant management, field logistics, and programme delivery in challenging environments. A strong understanding of humanitarian architecture and an ability to engage with partners and donors is key. You’ll thrive under pressure, communicate effectively, and be confident working across cultures and teams – often remotely.
If you’re looking for a meaningful opportunity to support lifesaving health interventions while strengthening programme systems in a complex, high-profile response, we’d love to hear from you.
