Job Title: Junior / Medior Buyer

About the Role
Are you eager to grow your procurement skills in a hands-on, dynamic environment? We’re looking for a Junior to Medior Buyer to strengthen our Procurement team. In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day purchasing activities that keep our operations running smoothly—from ordering components to managing supplier communication and solving delivery issues.
You’ll work closely with internal teams like R&D, Operations, and Logistics, helping to ensure timely delivery of materials and services for both production and innovation projects.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Process purchase requests and create purchase orders in line with planning and project needs.
- Track order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain daily communication with suppliers regarding availability and lead times.
- Handle any delays, incorrect deliveries, or quality issues with suppliers.
- Request quotations, compare pricing, and support ongoing cost-saving efforts.
- Help onboard new suppliers and keep supplier data up to date in our system.
- Support the team with reporting and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to align purchasing with operational needs.
👤 What You Bring
- A completed bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or similar.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience (internships and traineeships count!).
- Familiarity with basic procurement processes and ERP systems (experience with MS Dynamics 365 is a plus).
- A proactive and organized work style.
- Solid communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
- A hands-on, problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn.
