
Assoc Director, Supply Chain EMEA & APAC Planning & Launches- Fixed Term Contract
Position Summary:
The role is responsible for leading the commercial regional Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process and supply readiness for new products or changes to products in the EMEA & APAC regions. This role ensures alignment across demand, supply, and regulatory requirements and drives cross-functional collaboration to support successful product launches and introduction of product changes.

Work Model:
Flex: This role will typically require onsite work 2-3 days each week, or more depending on business needs. In many locations, the business will set certain days each week that Flex employees are required to be onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Direct product supply launch readiness in global cross-functional team (Quality, Regulatory, Global Planning, Global Packaging, Distribution, Country Representative) including project management and owning the respective change controls in our Quality Management System
- Define Country packaging configurations for new countries in close collaboration with Global Packaging, Regulatory and Global Planning
- Turn shipping demands for the regional markets into supply plans in alignment with the Commercial & Medical Affairs organizations, and Global Planning ensuring adequate inventory levels in our distribution centers
- Monitor inventory levels in the distribution centers and initiate timely replenishment. This includes batch allocation & transition planning for new or changed SKUs
- Develop meaningful KPIs and chair the regular operations reviews with the regional Commercial and Finance organization, and track actions from these
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in line with GxP and local regulations
- Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business) or local equivalent
- 8-12 years of progressively challenging experience in Supply Chain roles within GxP regulated industries
- Deep knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes
- Strong background in launch planning, demand/supply alignment, and inventory management
- Experience in managing complex projects, especially product launches across multiple countries or regions
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry procedures and regulations including cGMPs, cGDP and other regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with global distribution, trade compliance, and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle)
- Effective communication & stakeholder management at different levels: verbal, written, and presentations in English language, strong preference for proficiency in German and French language
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional groups and external partners to achieve business objectives in a fast-changing international environment
- Experience with Oracle ERP and Kinaxis planning engine software as well as proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI, and Outlook) and SharePoint
