Purpose of the Position:

The Talent Acquisition Partner performs the recruitment process for Ultimate Medical Academy (UMA). The Talent Acquisition Partner focuses on the full recruiting lifecycle including planning, attracting talent, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding to aid in building UMA careers.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional:

  • Recruits for open job requisitions as assigned by Talent Acquisition leadership.
  • Builds a network of qualified candidates through sourcing, cold calling, job board usage, applicants, referrals, college relationships, in-person/remote job fairs, and other public agencies.
  • Conducts interviews with candidates either in-person, on the phone, or through video conferencing, as internal departmental customers require.
  • Follows internal departmental customer guidelines on in-person, 2nd round, group, and/or final round interviews and conveys that information to candidates real-time.
  • Facilitates skills assessments, reference checks, and background checks for assigned job requisitions.
  • Extends offers as needed to candidates joining UMA and/or exits candidates from the interview process, as needed.
  • Works with the Talent Acquisition Concierge to help support the onboarding of new team members.
  • Grows and maintains an awareness of policies, procedures, and benefits that impact potential team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Technical:

  • Utilizes iCIMS tracking and other reporting tools to track information on candidate profiles, job requisitions, offers, and other onboarding information.
  • Completes regular or weekly onboarding checks with candidates, tracks recruitment efforts, and other reporting as needed or assigned.

Support Institutional Initiatives:

  • Keeps current with institutional goals, objectives, and progress.
  • Engages in institutional sponsored activities and initiatives as appropriate.
  • Leads with courage in support of change initiatives that impact organization.
  • Assists in coordinating efforts between departments within UMA.

Compliance:

  • Demonstrates knowledge of, and carefully follows all applicable federal and state compliance requirements and regulations including those prescribed by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, CIE, and internal UMA policies and procedures.
  • Effectively communicates compliance requirements to students and other staff as appropriate and quickly escalates any compliance concerns to the Compliance department.

Work Experience, Skills & Abilities:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED
  • One year of experience working in a hybrid work environment.
  • Able to professionally communicate fluently in verbal and written English.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools such as Skype and Microsoft Teams.
  • Able to track and process information in a high-volume environment where multiple candidates are in multiple stages of onboarding.
  • Able to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in recruiting, human resources, staffing, talent acquisition, sales, or another client-centric role.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a customer management system, CRM, or other Applicant Tracking System.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • This is a full-time remote position.
  • Home office set up, quiet place to work, and ability to hard wire into high-speed internet connection.
  • May require setup of computer equipment; accommodation consideration available upon request.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.

Anticipated starting salary is based on experience and qualifications.

Compensation Range

$63,000 - $63,000 USD
