Ultimate Medical Academy is a non-profit healthcare educational institution with a national presence. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida and founded in 1994, UMA offers content-rich, interactive online programs as well as hands-on training at our Clearwater, Florida campus.

Purpose of the Position:
The Change Manager will lead the development and execution of innovative change initiatives and strategic projects across the organization. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to align on change initiatives, promote organizational adaptation, address resistance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the change process.
The position will be highly visible and requires a proactive individual who can effectively lead and coach other team members during this transformative period.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and Execute Change Management Plans: Design and implement structured strategies to support change initiatives and strategic projects, in alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with team members to build trust, gather input, and foster commitment for enterprise-wide transformation efforts.
- Conduct Impact and Readiness Assessments: Evaluate the proposed changes and assess organizational readiness for transformation efforts.
- Lead Communication Strategies: Create clear, consistent messaging to inform and engage stakeholders throughout the change management process.
- Integrate Change Management with Project Management: Partner with project teams to embed change management practices into planning and execution phases.
- Support Training and Capacity Building: Coordinate training and provide documentation to help stakeholders adapt to new systems, tools, or processes.
- Monitor Progress and Measure Outcomes: Track key performance indicators and feedback to evaluate the success of change initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
- Promote a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Encourage innovation, flexibility, and learning to support the institution’s long-term adaptability and mission
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience:
- Associate’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with established change management frameworks and the ability to apply them in educational or mission-driven settings.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly, lead discussions, and engage diverse stakeholders
- Ability to integrate change management strategies into project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Ability to professionally communicate fluently in verbal and written English.
- Ability to contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Computer literacy/basic computer skills to effectively navigate and utilize the technology required for the role.
Preferred Requirements:
- Any advanced degree or equivalent experience and/or strong or advanced proficiency in any of the above required skills/experience.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools such as Microsoft Teams.
- Prosci Change Management certification preferred
- Experience in Higher Education and/or Healthcare Industry preferred
Compliance:
- Demonstrate knowledge of and carefully follows all applicable state laws and rules, federal and state compliance requirements and regulations including those prescribed by the U.S. Department of Education, accrediting agencies, state regulations and internal policies and procedures.
- Effectively communicate compliance requirements to other staff as appropriate and quickly escalate any compliance concerns to the Compliance department.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- This is a remote position, with occasional onsite travel required.
- Home office set up, quiet place to work, ability to be on camera, and ability to hard wire into high-speed internet connection.
- May require setup of computer equipment; accommodation consideration available upon request.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
Anticipated starting salary is based on experience and qualifications.
Compensation Range
$73,100 - $100,000 USD
