We are looking for an Group Executive Producer to join Translation! As a Group Executive Producer, you are a strategic leader and production expert who thrives where creativity, innovation, and execution come together. You will oversee a portfolio of business, guiding producers and cross-functional teams to deliver culturally resonant, best-in-class work that pushes culture forward. This is a senior role for a visionary producer who knows how to lead large-scale productions, scale operational excellence, and build trusted partnerships across internal departments, external vendors, and clients alike.
This role is based in Brooklyn, New York with four days in-office and one day remote.
What You'll Do
- Champion the Work: Ensure the creative vision is brought to life at the highest possible level, while balancing production feasibility and fiscal responsibility.
- Lead a Team: Manage and mentor a team of Producers across multiple accounts and projects, fostering growth, collaboration, and a culture of excellence.
- Shape Production Strategy: Design and implement production frameworks that optimize workflow, efficiency, and creativity across the agency.
- Oversee Key Accounts: Act as the senior-most production lead across major clients or business verticals, providing oversight on budgets, timelines, and creative execution.
- Client & Partner Engagement: Serve as a strategic production partner to senior clients and agency leadership; proactively solve challenges and champion innovative solutions.
- Financial Oversight: Own and manage production budgets across projects and accounts; ensure adherence to financial policies, risk mitigation, and job wrap procedures
- Scale Creative Ambition: Identify and unlock new opportunities for the agency and its clients through innovative production approaches, new tech, or fresh talent partnerships.
- Uplift Underrepresented Talent: Continue Translation’s commitment to inclusive sourcing, representation, and equity in production practices.
- Elevate the Culture: Bring passion, perspective, and your personal MINOR to shape the culture, work, and legacy of the agency.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Deep creative sensibility and a passion for culturally impactful work.
- Extensive knowledge of production across all media types: traditional, experiential, activations and events, and innovation
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, including mentorship, talent development, and conflict resolution.
- Exceptional ability to lead client conversations at a senior level with clarity, confidence, and creativity.
- Strong network of top-tier production partners, directors, editors, and creative collaborators.
- Fluent in complex budget management, union/non-union negotiations, and legal/risk compliance.
- Flexible, adaptable, and composed in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- 12+ years of production experience at a creative-led agency or company, with a clear trajectory of leadership growth.
- Experience leading large campaigns from pitch through final delivery, often with celebrity, influencer, or talent-heavy components.
- Extensive knowledge of SAG and non-SAG productions, union crews, and global shoot logistics.
- Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours as production demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- A reel or portfolio of culturally relevant, award-winning work.
- Experience overseeing multi-account production portfolios or a department.
- Deep knowledge and curiosity about culture—especially in music, sports, tech, entertainment, and media trends.

Salary Hiring Range: $195,000 - $230,000
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide (e.g. bonus, stock options, 401(k) match, etc.)
Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate.
The salary range above is for the NY/CA. As a company, we have a location based strategy, which means the salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired in another location.
