Senior Product Marketing Manager

The Senior Product Marketing Manager, GovCon is the industry marketing lead for Unanet’s GovCon business, partnering closely with the GovCon Business Leader and the ERP GovCon product management team to drive growth, positioning, and market impact. This role is industry-led, with strong product marketing expertise required to translate GovCon market insight into clear, compelling narratives.

You will define and elevate Unanet’s GovCon point of view by shaping industry messaging, product positioning, thought leadership, and go-to-market strategy across Unanet ERP GovCon, Enterprise SubK, and FedRAMP solutions. This is a high-visibility role that influences business strategy while serving as a key partner to Sales, Customer Success, and Product.

What You’ll Do

GovCon Industry & Business Leadership

  • Serve as the voice of the GovCon customer and market, sharing insights on trends, regulations, buying behavior, and competition.
  • Partner with GovCon business leadership to translate strategy into clear marketing narratives, campaigns, and field enablement.
  • Define and evolve Unanet’s GovCon ERP industry narrative and point of view.
  • Lead GovCon thought leadership initiatives, including content, events, webinars, and speaking opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent, compelling GovCon messaging across Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams.

Product Marketing

  • Own positioning and messaging for ERP GovCon, SubK, and FedRAMP solutions.
  • Translate product capabilities and roadmap into clear, market-relevant stories for GovCon buyers.
  • Collaborate with Creative to produce high-quality assets and create effective presentations.
  • Develop sales enablement content and deliver training for Sales and Customer Success.
  • Lead GovCon product release marketing in close partnership with Product.
  • Conduct market and competitive research and share insights with Sales, Product, and Customer Success.

GTM Strategy & Revenue Enablement

  • Create and execute GTM strategies and launch plans for GovCon solutions.
  • Define GovCon buyer and user personas and align messaging across the customer journey.
  • Build and maintain sales and partner enablement assets that support revenue growth.
  • Partner with Demand Gen, Content, and Sales on demand-driving campaigns and content.
  • Track and measure the impact of GTM and product marketing initiatives with Product and Revenue Operations.

First 90 Days

First 30 Days: Deeply immerse yourself in Unanet’s GovCon business, products, and customers. Build foundational relationships. Get fluent in our current GovCon messaging, competitive landscape, and GTM motions.

First 60 Days: Establish yourself as a go-to partner for GovCon industry insight and ERP GovCon storytelling. Contribute to active initiatives, support product launches, and begin leading select GovCon-specific enablement and content efforts. Start shaping a clear view of the GovCon industry thought leadership and GTM roadmap.

First 90 Days: Demonstrate strong GovCon industry and ERP product expertise. Confidently represent Unanet’s GovCon ERP solutions with customers, prospects, and partners. Be recognized internally as the primary industry marketing leader for GovCon ERP, and a key collaborator to the GovCon business leader and ERP GovCon product team.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of GovCon industry experience and 3+ years of B2B software marketing experience, with a focus on product, solution, or industry marketing.
  • Strong understanding of ERP, financial automation, FinTech, or related ecosystems.
  • Passionate about using AI to work more effectively, with hands-on experience applying it in daily work.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with a track record of improving adoption, sales, or GTM performance.
  • Experienced in market and competitive research and translating insights into clear guidance for Sales, Product, and leadership.
  • Clear, concise communicator with the ability to create high-impact, customer-focused marketing assets.
  • Confident presenting to executives, customers, and partners, and representing Unanet at GovCon industry events.
  • Willing to travel for customers, events, and quarterly in-person sessions.

Differentiators

  • MBA or equivalent business/strategic experience.
  • Experience in high-growth B2B SaaS across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise.
  • FinTech experience (e.g., BaaS, spend management, embedded lending) that can translate into innovative value stories for GovCon.

The base salary range for this opportunity is $145,800-$171,500 per year. You will be eligible for employee equity as well as discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time. You will further be eligible to participate in Unanet’s employee benefits plans and programs.
