Business Development Representative

Anywhere in the United States

We're looking for a results-oriented Business Development Representative to join our high-performing Sales Team. You will be responsible for cold-calling and emailing prospects, educating the market on the value of our solution, and generating sales opportunities with net new customers. You will develop expertise in identifying prospects, extracting contact information, and crafting targeted messaging via phone, email and LinkedIn. It goes without saying, you will be integral to the success of our company, and you'll have a passionate, talented, and supportive team behind you.  

What You'll Do  

  • Generate pipeline through proactive outreach to prospects via cold calling and strategic email campaigning  
  • Identify customer needs and requirements
  • Promote and position the value of our solution offerings
  • Define and schedule next steps with prospects, typically a discovery call with an Account Executive
  • Seamlessly transfer sales opportunities to a designated Account Executive
  • Research, qualify and track leads and related sales activities in Salesforce   
  • Develop relationships internally and sharpen your sales skill set   
  • Share your knowledge with your fellow Business Development Representatives  

Your First 90 Days  

In your first 30 Days, you will become familiar with our product, the industries we serve, and our approach to business development. You will join a cohort of new hires as you navigate our company onboarding program, uLaunch. You will immerse yourself in product education, working closely with our Education Services team. As your familiarity with our team, its operations, and our competitive landscape grows, so too will your influence and impact.  

Within your First 60 Days, you will begin generating pipeline through proactive, strategic outreach. Your efforts will support our growth in 2024 and beyond as we continue to deliver value to our growing customer base. You will learn our sales cycle and begin building a strong partnership with our team of Account Executives you will directly support.  

Within your First 90 Days, you will master identifying prospect needs and requirements and positioning our product and services as a solution to solving real, quantifiable business challenges. You will invest time in learning from your fellow Business Development Representatives, learning and sharing what works and what we can improve upon with your team.

Your Differentiators  

  • Experience utilizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) 
  • Experience in the commercial construction BD, PM, and or Financials
  • Prior phone cold calling experience
  • Experience and comfort utilizing AI

The salary for this opportunity is $51,000-$60,000 per year. You will be eligible for employee equity as well as to earn commissions subject to commissions plans and policies that may be in effect from time to time.
