Anywhere in the United States

As a Consultant on our growing Professional Services team, you will lead multiple concurrent Unanet ERP engagements, including core implementations and short-duration add-onprojects. You will help Government Contracting (GovCon) customers translate their business and accounting requirements into successful system configurations across projects with varying scope, duration, and complexity.

You will serve as a hands-on partner throughout the implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering and configuration through training, month-end close, and adoption, while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Understand and interpret customers’ business processes and accounting policies to configure Unanet ERP to meet their needs, including invoicing, revenue recognition, labor costing, cost pools, overhead allocations, and other project accounting requirements
  • Lead or independently deliver short-duration, fixed-scope customer projects, including implementations, optimization, expansion, training, data load, and other add hoc engagements
  • Gather requirements and complete system configuration activities, including core data loads for projects, tasks, customers, employees, subcontractors, and other foundational data
  • Guide customers through their first month-end close and reconciliation cycle, including A/R aging, A/P aging, WIP, unbilled amounts, and bank reconciliations
  • Lead customer training during Unanet engagements, helping users understand and effectively adopt configured workflows
  • Lead and support customers throughout the implementation lifecycle to drive successful adoption
  • Confirm project scope, assumptions, dependencies, deliverables, and completion criteria for assigned engagements
  • Support project scoping, effort estimation, and planning for small implementation and add-on opportunities
  • Partner with Project Managers to keep implementations and projects on schedule and within budget
  • Communicate project status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and customer responsibilities clearly and consistently
  • Manage your workload across multiple simultaneous customer engagements, including short-duration projects with overlapping timelines, while maintaining established utilization targets
  • Collaborate with Senior Consultants on larger, multi-resource implementations and take ownership of defined workstreams
  • Coordinate effective handoffs with Project Managers, Customer Success, Sales, Support, and other internal teams as appropriate
  • Follow Unanet’s milestone-based implementation methodology and established Professional Services processes
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Professional Services processes, procedures, and implementation practices
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other development opportunities to deepen your knowledge of Unanet ERP
  • Stay current on new Unanet product features and functionality

Your First 90 Days

In your first 30 days, you will complete orientation and get to know our team. You will build foundational product knowledge through our Help Center, Learning Management System (LMS), training sessions, and webinars. You will shadow peer Consultants on customer engagements and co-develop a detailed training plan with your manager.

In your first 60 days, you will continue shadowing customer implementations and progressing through your training plan. You will actively participate in available product training sessions and webinars. Using recorded resources and a demo environment, you will demonstrate proficiency with Unanet’s Time & Expense functionality and begin completing defined configuration and training activities with support.

By day 90, you will have shadowed multiple customer engagements and participated as a hands-on contributor. You will have demonstrated proficiency with Unanet Financials and begun leading defined implementation workstreams, training sessions, or small add-on projects, based on project assignments and readiness. Progressively working toward meeting a billable utilization target.
