Consultant (AIM)

Anywhere in the United States

The Consultant leads multiple simultaneous Unanet AIM implementations and legacy Flowtrac transition engagements of varying complexity, helping customers adopt AIM, manage data and integration needs, and achieve successful operational outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Lead discovery, requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design for Unanet AIM implementations across asset inventory, manufacturing, purchasing, receiving, work order, project, and related operational workflows.
  • Translate customer business, operational, and accounting requirements into AIM configuration, including projects, tasks, organizations, vendors, inventory, bills of material, work orders, purchasing, receiving, costing, and reporting.
  • Support customers using a legacy Flowtrac instance by providing additional training, consulting on process changes, review requests for new features/integrations, etc.
  • Assess legacy Flowtrac functionality and data to determine what should migrate to AIM, be redesigned, remain in the legacy environment, or be retired, while setting clear expectations about process and feature differences.
  • Plan and execute legacy Flowtrac to AIM migration activities, including backup coordination, data review and cleansing, source-to-target mapping, sandbox setup, validation, cutover readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Coordinate with Product, Development, Support, Integrations, and Project Management to evaluate product gaps, defects, data issues, and integration constraints, escalating risks with clear recommendations.
  • Configure and validate ERP to AIM sync, including project, account, vendor, purchase order, receipt, work order, inventory, and journal flows, with appropriate consideration for native and legacy integration patterns.
  • Lead customer training and AIM adoption activities, including explaining process changes and differences from the customer’s legacy system workflows; support user acceptance testing, test planning, issue triage, go-live readiness checkpoints, and transition to support.
  • Adhere to the standard Unanet milestone-based implementation and migration process while maintaining accurate project documentation, decisions, assumptions, risks, and customer-specific runbooks.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to keep engagements on schedule and within budget, maintain target utilization, and organize workload across multiple simultaneous implementations and migration workstreams.
  • Support continuous improvement of Professional Services processes, reusable playbooks, implementation templates, and customer-facing documentation.
  • Participate in group meetings and training sessions to build product knowledge and share lessons learned from AIM implementations and legacy Flowtrac transitions.
  • Stay current on Unanet AIM functionality, legacy Flowtrac considerations, integration capabilities, product changes, and implementation best practices.

 Your First 90 Days

  • First 30 Days: Complete onboarding and foundational training on Unanet AIM, legacy Flowtrac, Professional Services delivery standards, and the milestone-based implementation and migration process. Shadow customer discovery, configuration, data review, integration, and training activities, and become familiar with core AIM workflows and internal escalation paths.
  • First 60 Days: Contribute to active customer engagements by preparing for and participating in discovery and process-mapping sessions, documenting requirements and decisions, completing defined configuration and data-validation tasks, and supporting testing and customer training with guidance from an experienced consultant.
  • First 90 Days: Own defined workstreams or milestones within one or more AIM implementations or Flowtrac transition engagements. Coordinate assigned customer deliverables, track risks and decisions, support integration and migration validation, and demonstrate readiness to manage day-to-day consulting activities with appropriate support.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of ERP, asset management, manufacturing operations, accounting, or systems implementation experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
