About The Role
Insightly is seeking an experienced and passionate Mid Market Account Executive who will be responsible for fostering our growth with Mid Market Enterprises. This candidate will also have been consistently in the top 10% of the sales teams she/he has worked within, has a consultative sales approach, a track record of growing sales, and polished communication and presentation skills.
What you’ll be doing:
- Be a driving force in the success of Insightly’s goals through consistently achieving individual quarterly sales goals.
- Develop and execute on territory plans to build, grow and close outbound pipelines in Mid Market level accounts.
- Navigate and negotiate complex transactions through the development of executive-level relationships with key prospects
- Manage multiple opportunities through the entire sales cycle with a team of resources.
- Create and deliver customized sales presentations and high-impact demonstrations for CXX level engagements via web conferencing tools.
- Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure above-quota results
- Cross-functionally work with Customer Loyalty, Marketing, Product and Engineering to provide critical customer feedback loops that influence product roadmap to improve overall customer experience
- Execute on Insightly’s multi-product go-to-market strategy
- Active participation and engagement in a team environment including but not limited to mentoring, leading team discussions and initiatives as well as team-building exercises.
A little bit about you:
- Sales Experience: With over 8 years of on-quota, B2B sales experience in competitive markets, your background in on-demand/SaaS sales is highly valued. You hold a minimum of 4 years of experience successfully selling to Mid Market Enterprises.
- Curiosity & Technical Savvy: You have a natural curiosity about business and a technical aptitude that helps you truly understand and solve customer challenges, earning their trust along the way.
- Product Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Marketing Automation, CRM, or Project Management software is a big plus.
- Proven Success: Your track record speaks for itself—you consistently exceed sales goals by closing new business and maximizing opportunities through cross-selling and upselling. You've got a knack for outbound territory development and achieving revenue targets.
- Complex Sales Management: You excel in managing large, complex sales engagements that involve multiple departments and product suites. You are able to forecast sales results accurately.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication and contract negotiation skills are second nature to you.
- Team Player: You thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, working closely with Customer Success, Engineering, and Customer Loyalty teams.
- Lifelong Learner: You're proactive about your own development, always updating your knowledge and skills to stay in sync with new products, selling processes, and techniques.

- For US applicants:
- Base salary of $105,000 - $125,000 USD + commission
- For Canadian applicants:
- Base salary of $124,762 - $142,762 CAD + commission
