The Job

This is your opportunity to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is ready to roll up their sleeves and support the expansion of our Operations team in Belgium.

We are seeking someone capable of building laboratory instruments, contributing practical ideas to address operational challenges, and working toward meaningful operational goals. You will report to the Lead Instrument Technician.

 

Responsibilities

• Build high-end laboratory instruments in accordance with documented work instructions and the build plan
• Perform calibration, inspection, and performance testing of components and finished instruments
• Proactively suggest improvements to processes, quality, and manufacturing efficiency

 

Qualifications

• Technical degree in mechanics, electro-mechanics, electronics, or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of precision, accuracy, and quality
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with good communication skills
• Proactive, resilient, and motivated to make a meaningful impact
• Ability to occasionally lift heavier items
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a plus

 

Location

• This position is based at the Unchained Labs subsidiary in Ghent, Belgium.

Term

• Temporary contract through December 31, 2026
