ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Seasonal Merchant Operations Team Associate to join our team and play a pivotal role in communicating with our vendors and customers. In this integral position, you will collaborate closely with our seasonal and year-round team to ensure the efficient operation of our administrative processes, while providing exceptional customer and vendor support.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • First point of contact for all our vendors while placing purchase orders, following up on tracking, invoices, and vendor confirmations.
  • Assist vendors/customers via phone and email regarding order and/or account inquiries.
  • Self-starter; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Maintains accurate correspondence and records of vendor communications, including current vendor information regarding cost, availability, reorders, and general product information.
  • General administrative duties and support, including special projects on an “as needed” basis for the merchant operations team.
  • Critical problem-solver capable of streamlining, improving processes, and troubleshooting.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communicator across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Consistently exceeds expectations and demonstrates a commitment to excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, VLOOKUPs, PivotTables).
  • Experienced with Zendesk Ticketing System and other customer service platforms.
  • Highly computer proficient with strong technical aptitude.
  • Customer service–focused with a sense of urgency and adaptability.
  • Effective at prioritizing and navigating competing demands.

SCHEDULE

  • Hybrid Role (On-site Tuesdays and Thursdays).
  • Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with some availability on weekends as needed as overtime.
  • This is a seasonal position.
  • Expected hours: 40 per week
  • Note: Extended PTO blackout period 11/3/25 to 12/20/25.
