Product Manager - 12 month FTC

London, Nottingham or UK Remote*

*this role is open to remote working within the UK. Successful candidates will be required to travel to their closest UNiDAYS campus (London or Nottingham) on occasion.

The role in a nutshell

As a Product Manager focused on Ad Monetisation & Growth at UNiDAYS, you'll be instrumental in enhancing our on-site advertising capabilities and driving user acquisition and re-engagement. You'll support the strategy and execution for optimising our on-site personalised advertising experiences across web and mobile, leveraging our robust marketing and advertising technology stack. Additionally, you'll empower our marketing teams to deliver impactful off-site campaigns on leading social ad platforms, contributing directly to our company's growth objectives. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of how UNiDAYS engages with its audience and generates revenue through innovative ad solutions.

Day to day responsibilities 

  • Ad Monetisation Strategy: Define and execute the product roadmap for on-site ad monetisation, focusing on delivering highly personalised advertising experiences within the UNiDAYS web and mobile applications.
  • Ad Tech & MarTech Leverage: Work hands-on with our existing marketing technology and advertising technology tools and services (including MMPs and ad servers) to optimise ad delivery, targeting, and performance.
  • Cross-Platform Ad Campaign Support: Collaborate closely with marketing teams to support the planning, execution, and optimisation of off-site marketing campaigns on platforms like TikTok, Meta, and Snapchat, with a focus on user acquisition and re-engagement.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimisation: Monitor, analyse, and interpret large-scale marketing performance data to identify trends, derive actionable insights, and inform product improvements and marketing strategies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner effectively with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data Insight teams to ensure alignment, gather requirements, and drive successful product launches and iterations.
  • Trend Spotting & Action Planning: Proactively identify emerging trends in ad tech, martech, and digital marketing, translating them into concrete action plans to enhance our offerings and achieve business goals.
  • Product Backlog Management: Manage and prioritise the product backlog for ad monetisation features and initiatives, ensuring a clear and well-defined roadmap.

What we need from you

  • 3+ years of product management experience with a strong understanding of various ad platforms, including Snapchat, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and Facebook. Experience with Reddit, Google Ads, and YouTube is a bonus.
  • Proven experience working with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) and ad servers.
  • Demonstrable experience leveraging martech tools, including Content Management Systems (CMS) and web/app back-ends.
  • Track record of using digital marketing to achieve company objectives, with a clear understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Demonstrable experience collaborating with diverse teams including Commercial, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data Insight.
  • Demonstrated ability to spot trends, conduct in-depth analysis, and formulate actionable plans based on insights.
  • Hands-on experience measuring and interpreting large-scale marketing performance data
