Software Engineer

Unison is seeking a Software Engineer who can wear every hat in the full development life cycle of .NET applications. We are looking for a passionate programmer who wants to immerse themselves in cutting-edge software engineering projects using the latest industry standards and technologies. Primary duties will include UI development, database development, integration with 3rd party applications, and middleware development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of professional experience developing software applications using .NET or similar technologies
• Experience with the following technologies:
  • Azure Document Intelligence
  • VB.NET, C++, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
  • Visual Studio
• Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures of moderate complexity on SQL Server or Oracle PL/SQL
• Development of SOAP and RESTful web services
• Self-motivated; works well both independently and collaboratively

• Must pass an aptitude test

The base salary range listed is dependent on job-related factors such as experience, education, and skills. The expected range of pay for this role is:

Chicago, IL: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 Annually

Physical & Environmental Requirements

While performing this role, you must have ordinary ambulatory skills to move around the office and visit other locations. You should be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate light to medium weights (10-50 pounds). Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity are required for keyboard work and reading technical documentation. You will frequently sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and listen.
