
Quality Control Analyst
About the role:
As a member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for the integrity of information during acquisition and through to post-close. The Quality Control Analyst must assess how information is collected and from what source, who interacts with the information throughout our origination process, and conduct critical pre- and post-deal review to ensure our investment decisions are executed as intended and documented properly.
This is a hybrid position with a requirement of 3 full days in our Omaha, Nebraska office.
Responsibilities:
- Grasp the internal flow of the application process - from the intake in sales to post-closing
- Complete document reviews for sales, underwriting, processing, and post-close departments
- Complete call monitoring reviews with sales to ensure compliance and excellent customer service
- Assist in the development and refinement of current and future quality rubrics for cross functional partners
- Develop framework for testing the strength of our system and the various agents that work within our systems
- Lead development of a systematic self-audit solution in addition to manual routine testing protocols
- Create detailed reports on QC findings, trends, and performance metrics to provide insights for leadership
- Participate in design of automation projects as an advocate for data integrity and guideline compliance
About you:
- 2+ years of experience in auditing and/or mortgage quality control
- Unwavering attention to detail
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel - Pivot Tables, Table & Sort, etc.
- Strong communication skills in a cross-functional environment
It’s a bonus if:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Accounting or related subject
- Experience in Real Estate environment with hands on experience with viewing and verifying; title reports, appraisals, income, mortgage documentation, etc.
