CAD Technician

Role Profile

We're looking to add a Proactive and Energetic CAD Technician to join our growing team in our Centre of Excellence in Mahon, Cork. You'll be working closely with the Project Engineers and producing 2D and 3D blueprints and models for Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Engineering projects.

Responsibilities include but not limited to

• Perform day to day project duties producing 2D and 3D project deliverables for Pharmaceutical and Life Science engineering projects
• Generation of P&ID’s, schematics, building, and equipment layouts from concept stage through to detailed design and construction.
• Developing solutions to design-based problems with the support of engineering mentors.
• Using computer aided design technologies, develop sketches, drawings and construction documents. Review drawings and documents to ensure compliance with company design and production standards.
• Coordinate design work with related engineering disciplines. Attend coordination meetings and participate in the coordination of the work.

About you

We expect that you'll be incredibly proficient in the use of 2D AutoCAD, 3D AutoCAD, and ideally Revit. You'll need to have worked with Engineering documents, or within another highly technical industry with Life Sciences as a preference. Personality-wise, you'll need to be a strong communicator and be self-motivated, as the team will always be moving from project to project.
