Graduate Project Scheduler

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking to hire a Graduate Project Scheduler. This position will be based in the company’s offices in Mahon, Cork, and is a permanent role.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to kickstart their career in project scheduling, with the chance to work on impactful projects within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. We are looking for motivated individuals eager to learn and develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: 

  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules for multidiscipline design projects from concept through to facility delivery.
  • Learn to integrate supplier/contractor programs and schedules into the Master Project Program.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and maintaining Master Schedules and Resource Plans.
  • Support the identification and management of critical paths, and report on critical and near-critical tasks.
  • Assist in tracking project schedule changes and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and project planners to ensure adherence to the overall Master Project Plan.
  • Participate in internal and external schedule reviews and risk assessments.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports such as PERT, Earned Value, and Progress Measure reports, supporting the overall project controls function.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: 

The individual we are seeking will possess the following:

  • Degree/Higher Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A strong interest in project planning, scheduling, and control.
  • A willingness to learn MS Project and Primavera P6 (training will be provided).
  • Strong attention to detail, with good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for building a career in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
