Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale, multi-phase corporate fit-out project over a multi-year timeline. The project includes a mix of workspace and technical environments and requires close coordination with both internal and external teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in commercial interiors, a solid grasp of MEP systems, and experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders, phased delivery, and budget constraints.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Strategy: Take full ownership of the project's delivery across all stages from pitching, initiation, detailed planning to final handover, ensuring adherence to timeline, budget, and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project teams. Maintain clear, professional communication and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Technical Oversight: Oversee integration of architectural, ID, and MEP disciplines across all phases of the project, ensuring alignment with design intent and technical specifications.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budget, procurement, and variations. Work closely with the commercial team to ensure cost efficiency..
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate internal resources, contractors, and consultants. Work closely with the in-house Construction Manager and other site personnel to ensure seamless execution.
  • Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to track progress, monitor quality, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk & Safety Management: Identify and manage project risks in collaboration with the in-house HSE Manager and ensure that all works comply with WSH and statutory regulations.
  • Scheduling & Reporting: Develop and maintain detailed work schedules using Microsoft Project, track progress, and report updates to senior management and clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of project management experience in the commercial interior design & build industry, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience managing large, high-value interior fit-out projects from end to end.
  • Good knowledge of MEP coordination and experience working on technically integrated fit-outs (lab or specialized areas experience is an advantage).
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage complex project timelines and budgets under tight constraints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with local regulatory frameworks, such as SCDF submissions.
