Role Profile

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play an influential role in overseeing complex design and construction projects, building strong client relationships, and mentoring project teams. With a focus on high-quality, client-focused project delivery, you will help shape and elevate our standards for excellence and innovation.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to

• Lead large-scale, complex projects from initial planning through close-out, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client expectations at every phase.

• Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships. You’ll be proactive in understanding client needs and tailoring project strategies to exceed expectations.

• Manage and coordinate all project aspects, from budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to risk management and compliance. You’ll create project plans that balance quality, timeline, and budgetary goals.

• Facilitate and lead regular client and stakeholder meetings, providing updates on progress, addressing concerns, and fostering open, solution-focused communication. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering an exceptional client experience.

• Oversee all subcontractor and vendor relationships, ensuring performance standards are met and the team’s collective efforts align with project specifications and quality benchmarks.

• Lead site inspections and coordinate with Site Superintendents and subcontractors to monitor construction quality, address on-site challenges, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless integration of design, construction, and client requirements. You’ll work closely with design and engineering teams to keep projects aligned with the client’s vision and our firm’s standards.

• Develop and implement project management best practices, enhancing workflow, documentation, and team accountability across projects. You’ll mentor junior project managers and project engineers, fostering a culture of professional growth and continuous improvement.

• Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management, ensuring all financial goals are met. You’ll provide transparent financial reporting to clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Your experience and skills

• 10+ years in project management within the design and construction field, with proven expertise in managing large, complex projects from conception to completion.

• Extensive experience in client relationship management, with the ability to anticipate client needs, adapt strategies accordingly, and maintain strong client satisfaction levels.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Vista, or similar project management software, ensuring you can manage schedules, budgets, and project documentation with precision.

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulatory requirements, along with demonstrated experience in trade coordination and subcontractor management.

• Solid financial acumen with experience in project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, ensuring transparent and accountable project delivery.

Base Pay Range

$150,000 - $180,000 USD
