
HR Coordinator
United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. was founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 2020. UIS is a U.S. subsidiary of United Integrated Services Co., Ltd. (UIS Taiwan) which was founded in Taiwan in 1982. UIS is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction company. We provide fully integrated design-build services to our clients in the high-technology industry for their manufacturing facility needs. Our scope of services includes engineering design, high-tech factory planning, and on-time equipment and material delivery in which clean-room systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and tool hook-up, are all vital parts in need of total coordination.
Summary:
United Integrated Services (USA) is seeking a HR Coordinator to join our team!
In this role, you will support the Human Resources department by handling administrative tasks, facilitating the onboarding process, and supporting Talent Acquisition initiatives to attract, source, and secure top talent. This position serves as a primary point of contact for candidates and assists in various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a passion for connecting with people!
** This is a full time onsite position located in North Phoenix, AZ (85027).**
This position is a temporary role for a duration of one year. While extensions may be considered based on the business needs of the organization, there is no obligation to extend the position length of employment, and employment may be terminated at any time based on the organization’s discretion and operational requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, phone screens, virtual and in-person interviews for the recruiter and hiring teams.
- Manage job postings on internal and external job boards, social media platforms, and other recruiting channels.
- Source candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, other job boards, and networking events.
- Assist in the development of job descriptions and recruitment strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ATS and HRIS, produce periodic reports based on business needs.
- Assist in the development of job descriptions and recruitment strategies.
- Manage full-cycle pre-boarding for new hires, such as scheduling drug tests and background checks, verifying completion of HRIS account, etc.
- Coordinating the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and ensuring all paperwork is completed.
- Address inquiries from new hires regarding the onboarding process.
- Perform related administrative tasks and projects as needed.
- Providing administrative support to HR managers and other team members.
- Assist in training coordination, safety compliance, and workforce development initiatives.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:

- High School Diploma/GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
- 2-3+ years of experience in HR, recruitment, or related administrative roles.
- Experience in construction industry, a plus
Skills and Competencies:
-
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS software, Greenhouse and Paycom preferred.
- Experience using sourcing methods like Boolean search techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, attentive to details, and have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Language Proficiency:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish, preferred
Nice to have:
- Start-up experience.
- Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in HR.
- Verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Experience in construction industry, a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for transporting documents, equipment, and other materials as needed. The role involves extended periods of sitting while working at a computer, as well as standing and walking. Frequent movement between the construction trailer and various areas of the construction site is necessary.
The position is based at the construction job site (trailer office). Even though the exposure of hazardous work conditions would be minimal, the employee may be required to visit the work area of the jobsite and thus be exposed to some typical work hazards that may be present on a construction site, such as dust, moving machineries, weather, caustic chemicals, noise etc. UIS would provide the required safety protection to ensure the safety of UIS employees and comply with all OSHA standards.
