United Integrated Services (USA) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team!
The Talent Acquisition Specialist deals with the strategies, tactics, and processes for identifying, recruiting, and retaining the human resources needed, including developing, implementing, and evaluating programs for sourcing, recruiting, hiring and orienting talents. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also assist with a variety of tasks to support employee onboarding, employee record keeping, HR reporting, and specifically will be tasked the following.

** This is a full time onsite position located in North Phoenix, AZ (85027).**
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews and assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Verify that all new hires possess valid work authorization and comply with employment eligibility requirements.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Administers background check, drug-screening, I-9 and E-Verify process.
- Assists in onboarding new employees including employee portal setup, data and document collection, equipment distribution, introduction to team, helping new hires enroll in benefits, answering questions and concerns, etc.
- Assists in Expatriate employees with relocation/settlement and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information and documentation related to onboarding.

Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3+ years of related experience and/or training.
- Experience in recruitment in construction industry, a plus
Skills and Competencies:
-
- Strong understanding of recruitment process, ensuring a positive a candidate experience.
- Familiar with various work visas, i.e. F1 (OPT/CPT), H-1B, TN, E, L, etc.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS software, Greenhouse and Paycom preferred.
- Experience using sourcing methods like Boolean search techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, attentive to details, and have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
Language Proficiency:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- Start-up experience.
- Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in HR.
- HR related certification (PHR, SHRM CP)
- Mandarin verbal communication skills, preferred.
- Experience in construction industry, a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for transporting documents, equipment, and other materials as needed. The role involves extended periods of sitting while working at a computer, as well as standing and walking. Frequent movement between the construction trailer and various areas of the construction site is necessary.
The position is based at the construction job site (trailer office). Even though the exposure of hazardous work conditions would be minimal, the employee may be required to visit the work area of the jobsite and thus be exposed to some typical work hazards that may be present on a construction site, such as dust, moving machineries, weather, caustic chemicals, noise etc. UIS would provide the required safety protection to ensure the safety of UIS employees and comply with all OSHA standards.
