
Inventory Lead
United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. was founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 2020. UIS is a U.S. subsidiary of United Integrated Services Co., Ltd. (UIS Taiwan) which was founded in Taiwan in 1982. UIS is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction company. We provide fully integrated design-build services to our clients in the high-technology industry for their manufacturing facility needs. Our scope of services includes engineering design, high-tech factory planning, and on-time equipment and material delivery in which clean-room systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and tool hook-up, are all vital parts in need of total coordination.
Summary: The Inventory Lead provides support for the Inventory Manager and logistics team with the daily tracking and management of all UIS inventory located at UIS warehouse locations and on site material storage yards. In this role, you will provide support for daily cycle counting, inventory inspections, documentation, warehouse layout and storage projections, and laydown material tracking and inspections. Daily tasks include data tracking and input to the Inventory management software (WASP), cycle counting, reporting and engineer assistance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide support to assist with the management of the organization’s inventory operations, ensuring stock levels are documented and reported.
- Document receipt, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment.
- Monitor and analyze inventory data to forecast future inventory needs.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records in the inventory management system.
- Monitor and assist with discrepancies in inventory levels.
- Comply with all safety protocols, operational guidelines, and company policies with the warehouses and material storage yards.
- Monitor inventory management software (WASP) to ensure all inventory numbers are adjusted as inventory is issued out from the system and received from .
- Provide support to the material preservation program and assist with data processing, input to electronic databases, upload of picture documentation and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED in a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in Inventory management and/or warehousing, preferably in the construction industry.
Skills and Competencies:
- Understanding of the supply chain process and warehouse management processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to use inventory management software, such as WASP.
- Follow best practices for inventory control to minimize loss, damage, or overstocking.
- Ensure that inventory procedures support company objectives for service levels and financial performance.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of attention to detail, and highly organized.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
- Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
Language Proficiency:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for transporting documents, equipment, and other materials as needed. The role involves extended periods standing, walking and/or of sitting while working at a computer. Frequent movement between the construction trailer and various areas of the construction site is necessary.
The position is based at the construction job site (trailer office). Even though the exposure of hazardous work conditions would be minimal, the employee may be required to visit the work area of the jobsite and thus be exposed to some typical work hazards that may be present on a construction site, such as dust, moving machineries, weather, caustic chemicals, noise etc. UIS would provide the required safety protection to ensure the safety of UIS employees and comply with all OSHA standards.
