
Pipefitting Foreman
United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. was founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 2020. UIS is a U.S. subsidiary of United Integrated Services Co., Ltd. (UIS Taiwan) which was founded in Taiwan in 1982. UIS is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction company. We provide fully integrated design-build services to our clients in the high-technology industry for their manufacturing facility needs. Our scope of services includes engineering design, high-tech factory planning, and on-time equipment and material delivery in which clean-room systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and tool hook-up, are all vital parts in need of total coordination.
Summary: The Foreman is responsible for leading a team of Pipefitters, to maintain a clean, organized, and safe construction environment. In this role, you will monitor site access, assist with basic site maintenance, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and support the construction team with daily operations. The Foreman plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the construction site. Foreman level positions are a working role and can expect to be available for all hours of operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead and manage of team of Pipefitters on site.
- Ensure that tools and equipment are stored properly at the end of each day.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of temporary structures such as tents, fencing, and barriers.
- Monitor site access to ensure that only authorized personnel enter the construction site. Report any suspicious activities or security concerns to the site manager immediately.
- Ensure that safety signs, barriers, and protective equipment are in place and in good condition.
- Conduct regular inspections of the site to identify potential safety hazards.
- Support the enforcement of safety protocols and procedures among site personnel.
- Assist construction workers with basic tasks as needed, such as moving materials and equipment, loading and unloading of materials, deliveries to construction locations etc.
- Maintain records of site activities, including deliveries, visitor logs, safety inspections, delays, damages and fuel logs etc.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or safety violations to the site manager.
- Provide daily reports to the site manager on site conditions and any issues that arise.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 5+ years of experience in construction environment.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of construction site operation and safety practices.
- Ability to use hand tools and equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to review and understand construction drawings and terminology.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of attention to detail, and highly organized.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
- Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Ability to work in a construction site environment outdoors and in a trailer office.
Language Proficiency:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.

- Maintain balance and coordination while moving materials or operating equipment.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments requiring frequent movement and manual labor.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and moving mechanical equipment.
- Indoor and/or outdoor work environments, which may include varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, or active job sites, depending on project requirements.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and high-visibility vests.
- Interaction with powered industrial equipment, tools, and vehicles.
