Summary : The QA/QC Electrical Inspector is responsible for performing inspections of electrical installations, materials, equipment, and construction activities to ensure compliance with approved construction documents, project specifications, applicable codes, and quality requirements. This position works under general supervision and supports quality assurance and quality control activities on commercial, industrial, manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor construction projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of electrical installations and construction activities.
• Verify installation of conduit, cable tray, raceways, supports, grounding systems, lighting systems, power distribution equipment, and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Perform installation inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project standards.
• Review electrical construction documents, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and specifications.
• Verify material compliance and proper installation practices.
• Witness continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, and basic electrical testing activities.
• Review and process Notices of Examination (NOEs) in accordance with project quality procedures.
• Document deficiencies and non-conforming work.
• Assist with punch list generation and tracking.
• Verify corrective actions have been completed.
• Maintain electronic inspection records and documentation.
• Participate in quality and coordination meetings.
• Follow all company safety and site-specific requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical construction, commissioning, QA/QC, inspection, or related experience.
• Commercial or industrial electrical experience required.
• Semiconductor, manufacturing, or data center experience preferred.

Certifications

• Valid Arizona Driver's License.
• OSHA 10 Preferred.
• ICC Electrical Inspector certification preferred or ability to obtain within 24 months.
• NFPA 70E training preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70).
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of conduit, cable tray, and power distribution systems.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Additional Project-Specific Requirements

• Ability to work in cleanroom or sub-fab environments.
• Willingness to work extended hours or weekends when required for testing or inspections.
• Must pass background checks, safety orientations, and site-specific training.
• Must comply with confidentiality and photography restrictions on the semiconductor site
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.

• Maintain visual acuity sufficient to read labels, instructions, safety signage, and documentation.
• Maintain balance and coordination while moving materials or operating equipment.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments requiring frequent movement and manual labor.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and moving mechanical equipment.
• Indoor and/or outdoor work environments, which may include varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, or active job sites, depending on project requirements.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and high-visibility vests.
• Interaction with powered industrial equipment, tools, and vehicles.
