Position Overview

The Project Manager is accountable for the delivery of end to end ETRM projects, with emphasis on the implementation and enhancement of ION’s Openlink Commodities. This role provides leadership and structure across all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and execution to closure, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and quality expectations. The position requires strong coordination across functional teams such as trading, risk, operations, development, and QA and close engagement with stakeholders to manage risks, dependencies, and deliverables. The Project Manager also supports change management activities and vendor oversight, contributing to the overall success and adoption of project outcomes. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned Endur v25 workstream(s), managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality against the agreed programme plan.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and internal teams, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and expectations.
• Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide clear and concise reporting to stakeholders and leadership. 
• Coordinate across business, functional, and technical teams, including trading, risk, operations, development, and QA.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder visibility. 
• Ensure all project deliverables meet client requirements and quality standards.
• Support change management and user adoption efforts in coordination with the client.
• Manage vendors and third-party contributors when applicable.

 

Required Qualifications:

• 8-10+ years of project management experience delivering large-scale technology implementations, with Openlink Endur.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Working fluency in the commodity trade lifecycle end to end
• Consulting or client-side delivery background
• PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or a comparable qualification.
• Breadth across commodity classes - crude and refined products, natural gas, power, LNG, freight, emissions, or metals.
