Tell me about my job.
At capSpire, we empower our consultants to become trusted advisors, tackling complex challenges for leading energy and commodity trading firms. In this Senior Consultant role, you will be part of the team involved in implementation/upgrade/support of RightAngle, bringing SME knowledge in deal modeling, deal valuations, risk management, scheduling, invoicing, and accounting for commodities and energy. You will ensure successful project delivery, ensuring the best client experience throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills Required:
- 5-7 years experience within professional services supporting and delivering CTRM or ETRM systems, with working knowledge of current and recent versions of systems. (RightAngle: S15 or above)
- Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge in key modules of CTRM system and in commodity/energy operations, financial products, risk management, and/or accounting.
- Proven history of collaborating with technical teams to create customizations based on specific client needs.
- Extensive experience in commodity lifecycles and proficiency in CTRM and associated systems to position you to deliver solutions for complex business challenges across multiple markets.
- Experience with training and enabling junior team members.
- Experience in conducting comprehensive testing and quality assurance activities to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of RightAngle solutions.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Ability to travel to onsite client locations for a limited time as per project requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and prospects to determine business requirements and processes to be addressed by key areas of the RightAngle solution, with the ability to identify improvement potential and drive change management.
- Work as part of a team on the functional implementation, encompassing design, configuration, functional testing and support transition to operations of RightAngle solution.
- Support existing solutions for bug fixes, enhancements and operations.
- Document business requirements, implementation designs, test plans/results, and other deliverables required by the project.
- Ensure proper software design for scalability, robustness, maintainability, and integration with other components and systems.
- Follow best practices, documentation standards, and resolution process flow for all deliverables.
- Collaborate with technical teams to create customizations based on specific client needs.
- Gain an understanding of front, mid and back offices to help properly help capSpire meet client business needs.
