Responsibilities
The FP&A Manager is responsible leading the budgeting and forecasting process for the the entire organization with support from the Finance leadership. They will also lead the structuring and prioritizing the FP&A Analyst’s duties and deliverables. The FP&A Manager is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis, projects and ad hoc requests. They are also expected to provide analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects as well as the reconciliation of internal accounts. Additionally, the FP&A Manager identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to the FP&A Director and CFO.
- Manage FP&A Analysts, assist in performance management, hiring and training of team members.
- Produce, prepare, and maintain several monthly database reports, analyzing KPIs/statistics/trends and indicating changes of financial impact. Also recommend changes to funding levels and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process, review budget proposals, and understand key indicators for the development of annual budgets.
- Synthesize information from multiple sources for modelling purposes to identify critical intelligence and data interpretations; Apply knowledge of the business and relevant technologies in a way that engages business teams to strategize and evaluate possible solutions.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers in finance, department leaders, executive, and other external stakeholders, utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Track healthcare reimbursement, payor trends and company analytics as they relate to future cash flows.
- Maintain individual insurance payer/payment trends and A/R aging categories on a weekly and monthly basis. Evaluate reimbursement rate trends within various geographic markets, procedure types, and payor mix.

- Maintain the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other applicable laws and regulations. PHI is a top priority of our organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or a related field. May consider equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years’ successful experience as a Financial Analyst.
- 1-2 years of managerial experience.
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office required as well as experience with eClinicalWorks, Salesforce, and accounting software strongly preferred.
- Must exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to provide data both accurately and timely for decision making purposes.
- Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
- Must assure discreet and confidential handling of all business information and understand regulatory guidelines.
- Dependable; able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards.
