
Director of Business Intelligence
The Director of Business Intelligence (BI) is a strategic leadership role responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive clinical and corporate performance at United Vein & Vascular Centers. This role sets the vision for enterprise analytics, leads a high-performing BI team, and partners with executive leadership to embed data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Director will architect scalable BI solutions, champion data governance, and foster a culture of analytics excellence.
This position is open to remote candidates however local to the corporate office in Tampa is preferred. Remote candidates will have occasional travel up to 10%.
About the role
- BI Strategy & Vision: Set and execute the long-term BI strategy, aligning with organizational goals and growth plans.
- Leadership: Lead, inspire, and scale a high-performing BI team; establish career paths and team structure as needed.
- Executive Reporting: Design and oversee the production of executive dashboards, KPIs, and board-level metrics.
- Enterprise Data Integration: Partner with data engineering to shape a robust and scalable data architecture supporting real-time and batch analytics.
- Data Governance: Lead efforts to unify definitions, reporting logic, and governance frameworks across departments.
- Business Partnership: Serve as the analytics thought partner to executive stakeholders in clinical, operations, finance, and marketing.
- Change Leadership: Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and champion BI adoption across the enterprise.

- Maintain the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other applicable laws and regulations. PHI is a top priority of our organization.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy
- 3–5+ years in BI leadership, managing both people and platforms
- Strong command of Power BI, enterprise data modeling, and performance tuning
- Experience leading BI in a high-growth or private equity-backed healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling BI functions from the ground up
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS in Analytics or related) preferred
- Highly dependable; able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards.
