The ideal candidate will be located in Tampa with the ability to be hybrid at our corporate location, however this is also open to remote candidates.

Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, net revenue, working capital, and investments. The Senior Financial Analyst provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects and is also responsible for the reconciliation of internal accounts. Additionally, the Financial Analyst identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to FP&A Manager and/or Director.


•Produces, prepares, and maintains several monthly database reports, analyzing KPIs/statistics/trends and indicating changes of financial impact. Also recommends changes to funding levels and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assists with the annual budgeting process, review budget proposals, and understand key indicators for the development of annual budgets.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with peers in finance, department leaders, executive, and other external stakeholders, utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Tracks healthcare reimbursement, payor trends and company analytics as they relate to future cash flows.
• Maintains individual insurance payer/payment trends and A/R aging categories on a weekly and monthly basis. Evaluates reimbursement rate trends within various geographic markets, procedure types, and payor mix.

•Maintains the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), and other applicable laws and regulations. PHI is a top priority of our organization.
•Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance/accounting or a related field.
•3+ years’ experience as a Financial Analyst.
•Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office required as well as experience with eClinicalWorks, Salesforce, and Accounting software strongly preferred.
•Must exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and facilitation skills.
•Ability to provide data both accurately and timely for decision making purposes.
•Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
•Dependable; able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards.
