The ideal candidate will be located in Tampa with the ability to be hybrid at our corporate location, however this is also open to remote candidates.

Responsibilities

The Revenue Integrity Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the revenue cycle team to ensure timely and accurate billing. This role provides leadership, monitors performance metrics, identifies process improvement, and works collaboratively with internal and external partners to optimize cash flow with a focus on reducing coding errors, clearinghouse rejections and provider documentation errors.

Supervise and support the day-to-day activities of the team.
• Track and manage team productivity, quality standards, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Train, coach, and mentor staff to improve performance and to ensure adherence to policy and procedures, and develop a cohesive team
• Investigate and manage complex documentation issues to improve external audit results and increase front end revenue.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflow processes to increase efficiency within the department
• Ability to produce accurate data reporting and departmental performance summaries to leadership
• Works closely with leadership to ensure the department’s activities and priorities are aligned with departmental goals and objectives, communicates expectations to the team, and supports initiatives that drive operational efficiency, productivity, and financial performance.

• Maintain the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

CPC certification with 4-5 years of experience in Coding and Accounts Receivable, within the healthcare field
• Minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with billing systems and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and concepts effectively
• Leads by example, promotes teamwork by fostering a positive, transparent, and focused working environment which achieves maximum results.
• Dependable; able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards for the role.
