Director, Growth Marketing

United States

Job Title: Director, Growth Marketing

Department: Marketing

About the Role

The Director, Growth Marketing is responsible for building and scaling the demand generation engine that drives new pipeline creation and revenue growth across our buyer segments. The right candidate is energized by standing up new capabilities and refreshing processes, not just optimizing mature ones.Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications, this role leads a team spanning demand generation, digital marketing, marketing automation, and event marketing, plus agency and vendor relationships. The right candidate brings deep B2B SaaS experience, understands long-cycle enterprise and government sales, and thrives building new capabilities.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and own the growth marketing strategy — defining target segments, channel mix, campaign architecture, and pipeline targets in close partnership with the SVP of Marketing and Communications and Sales leadership.
  • Design and execute multi-channel demand generation programs including account-based marketing (ABM), digital advertising, content syndication, paid and organic digital channels, email nurture, and webinar programs tailored to targeted buyer personas.
  • Identify and implement the right tools, platforms, and processes to support scalable demand generation — standing up capabilities that don't exist today where needed.
  • Introduce AI-assisted workflows across marketing operations — including content production, campaign optimization, and lead scoring — to increase team velocity and efficiency.
  • Establish clear KPIs and reporting for demand generation: pipeline contribution, conversion rates, cost per opportunity, and channel-level ROI. Build the dashboards and cadences to make this data actionable.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to strengthen lead management infrastructure; scoring models, routing logic, CRM integration — ensuring clean handoffs to Sales.
  • Collaborate with Sales to define and improve the inbound lead process, including qualification criteria, distribution logic, and follow-up cadence.
  • Own the company's event strategy, including Unite Us-hosted events and One Continuum, the annual customer conference — with clear goals tied to pipeline generation and customer engagement.
  • Develop field marketing programs aligned to state-level and regional sales priorities, including presence at key industry events.
  • Build demand generation approaches tailored to complex, multi-stakeholder procurement cycles and policy-aligned thought leadership.
  • Support healthcare IT analyst relations and amplify customer evidence programs — case studies, ROI stories, peer references — that accelerate deals and strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Ensure marketing data practices and tracking align with healthcare data sensitivity and evolving digital privacy requirements.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing growth marketing team — setting clear expectations, managing performance, developing talent, and managing agency relationships and budget.

You’re a great fit for this role if:

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience in B2B SaaS, with significant time in demand generation or growth marketing leadership.
  • 5+ years building and leading marketing teams of 5+ people.
  • Track record of building demand generation programs and infrastructure — not just inheriting mature systems. Comfortable in environments where processes, tools, and playbooks need to be created.
  • Experience with account-based marketing and selling into multi-stakeholder buying committees with long sales cycles (12+ months).
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM (Salesforce), and analytics tools.
  • Practical experience using AI tools to improve marketing productivity.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
