Department: Product Development

About the Role

The Senior Product Operations Manager is a leader responsible for driving operational excellence, scalability, and continuous improvement across the product organization. This role partners closely with Product and Technology leadership as well as cross-functional leadership to identify, design, implement, and evolve processes that empower teams to deliver high-impact products efficiently and effectively. The Senior Product Operations Manager partners with stakeholders to shape how we plan, execute, and measure success across the product lifecycle. You are equally comfortable operating at strategic, operational, and tactical levels, influencing decision-making, leading change, and translating strategy into scalable systems that accelerate innovation.

What You'll Do:

Product Operations & Release Ownership:  Own and improve release operations across all products to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.  Coordinate release planning and execution, managing dependencies, risks, and timelines across teams. Communicate release plans, risks, and changes clearly to ensure cross-functional alignment.

Operational Metrics & Insights:  Track and analyze key metrics (e.g., predictability, cycle time) to drive continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Coordination:   Partners with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to troubleshoot tagging issues, QA instrumentation, and ensure product usage data is reliable for downstream reporting, adoption analysis, and user behavior insights. Will also align teams to ensure release readiness and smooth delivery.

Best Practices & Continuous Improvement:  Apply and evolve product and release management best practices.

Leadership Through Influence:  Drive alignment and improvements across teams without direct authority.

You’re a great fit for this role if:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, program management, operations or owning and driving organizational processes
  • Equally comfortable thinking about evolution of processes and rolling up your sleeves and getting into the weeds when needed.
  • Experience conceiving, developing, deploying, and owning new processes across product orgs and companies, and possessing strong change management skills.
  • Experience using JIRA as the system of record for product & engineering roadmap work
  • Experience administering Pendo or other similar product experience package
  • Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Process-driven with a focus on the details and data. You have the know-how to lead projects/initiatives and measure the results.
  • Enjoy building bridges and relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to lead by influence.
  • Experience assessing and deploying new tools used across a product organization, such as a portfolio, roadmapping, or reporting & dashboarding tool.
  • Strong analytical & creative problem-solving skills and a positive ‘can-do’ demeanor.
  • Supports Pendo administration and tagging efforts across the platform, including creating/managing feature tags, validating implementation accuracy, and maintaining consistency in tracking standards and naming conventions.
  • Partners with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to troubleshoot tagging issues, QA instrumentation, and ensure product usage data is reliable for downstream reporting, adoption analysis, and user behavior insights

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
