About the Role: Unite Us is looking for a dynamic and results-driven business development representative to identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities aligned with our growth objectives. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with an understanding of modern sales processes and a knack for quickly establishing trust with prospective clients. In this cross-functional role, the BDR will collaborate closely with our marketing and sales teams to generate a qualified pipeline, refine messaging strategies, and contribute meaningfully to long-term revenue growth.
What You'll Do:
- Qualify inbound leads by evaluating fit, decision-maker authority, budget, and timeline to ensure alignment with sales priorities
- Identify and engage potential leads through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, social selling, and participation in industry events
- Conduct thoughtful discovery conversations to understand prospective customers' business challenges, determine qualification, and identify opportunities where Unite Us can provide value.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align outreach strategies, optimize messaging, and ensure seamless handoffs
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions, touchpoints, and lead stages using Salesforce and other sales platforms
- Schedule and coordinate introductory calls, product demos, and initial consultations between qualified leads and account executives
- Meet and exceed KPIs related to lead volume, conversion rates, and pipeline contributions on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Leverage Salesforce and sales enablement tools to automate workflows, personalize outreach, and track engagement metrics
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to enhance positioning and objection handling
- Represent the company in a professional manager during networking opportunities, webinars, and events to build brand visibility and gather market intelligence
- Provide actionable feedback to the marketing team on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and evolving customer pain points
You’re a great fit for this role if you have:
- 0-2 years of professional experience in sales, business development, customer service, account management, hospitality, retail leadership, recruiting, or another customer-facing role.
- Demonstrated interest in building a long-term career in sales.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities that foster trust and rapport with prospective clients across industries
- Excellent time management and organizational skills for balancing high-volume outreach with personalized engagement
- Experience working toward goals, quotas, or other measurable performance objectives is preferred.
- Proficiency with modern CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable, with a proactive mindset and ability to overcome objections and adapt strategies based on performance data
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position is remote, U.S. based.
- This position may require 10% travel
- The target pay range for this role is: $50,000-55,000. This salary range represents our target hiring range for this role. The proposed salary will be dependent on the candidate's skills, experience, and competencies, as well as location.
- All team members will be required to pass a background check which includes criminal, employment, and education verification
