Role Overview
The Accounting & Contracts Specialist is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of
contracts and invoicing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless communication with
both internal stakeholders and external clients. This role tightly integrates contract creation
with billing, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Own QuickBooks Online end-to-end: invoicing, AR/AP, bank reconciliations, journal
entries, month-end close
• Conduct monthly financial reviews and prepare leadership-ready summaries
• Responsible for the creation of all financial statements
• Manage client invoicing and ensure invoices align with contract terms
• Draft, manage, and maintain contracts, SOWs, amendments, and renewals
• Own the contract-to-cash lifecycle
• Serve as client-facing contact for invoicing and contract questions
• Liaison with external CPA for monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting and tax support
• Maintain access to bank accounts and oversee cash activity
• Identify and implement process improvements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience
• Experience with invoicing, month-end close, AR/AP
• Contract management experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset
