Senior Growth Analyst
Department: Product Management
Reporting Manager: Vice President of Growth and Transformation
Location: Scotts Valley, CA (Hybrid)
Universal Audio is building a next-generation growth engine—integrating Segment, Braze, Shopify, and BigQuery into a unified revenue system powering personalization, lifecycle marketing, and data-driven decision-making.
We’re looking for a Senior Growth Analyst who blends the precision of an analyst with the instincts of a product manager. This is a hands-on role for a builder who thrives at the intersection of data, experimentation, and product experience—someone who can identify growth opportunities, structure hypotheses, and translate results into roadmap impact.
The Senior Growth Analyst operates as the connective tissue between data, product, and marketing—owning the strategy, design, and measurement of UA’s key growth levers across the user journey: acquisition, conversion, expansion, retention, and monetization.
You’ll work alongside lifecycle, paid media, and product teams to develop hypotheses, design experiments, and turn insight into scalable programs. You’ll be as comfortable writing SQL as you are framing a narrative for leadership.
This is not a reporting or campaign ops role—it’s a strategic growth product role where you’ll define what success looks like, measure it, and help the company move faster toward it.
Responsibilities:
Growth Strategy & Experimentation
- Identify and prioritize opportunities across the funnel (onboarding, activation, conversion, expansion, retention, reactivation).
- Partner with Lifecycle and Product teams to design and execute A/B tests and growth experiments.
- Translate experiment data into actionable insights and roadmap recommendations.
- Manage an experimentation backlog, hypothesis tracker, and performance readouts.
Measurement & Forecasting
- Define core KPIs and leading indicators for acquisition, activation, conversion, expansion, retention, and monetization.
- Build and maintain dashboards and growth models that forecast revenue and audience outcomes.
- Quantify the incremental impact of campaigns, lifecycle journeys, and product changes.
- Partner with Finance and Analytics to align forecast inputs with business pacing.
Product & Lifecycle Integration
- Collaborate with PMs and marketers to embed growth hooks into UA’s product experiences and user journeys.
- Inform lifecycle orchestration logic (e.g., onboarding, trial conversion, upgrade) with data-driven insights.
- Ensure consistent measurement across email, web, app, and ecommerce surfaces.
- Partner with the MarTech Manager to ensure instrumentation and event schemas enable measurement at every step.
Attribution & Insights
- Maintain growth attribution models connecting marketing, product, and revenue data.
- Analyze customer journeys and segment behaviors to identify lift opportunities.
- Build “growth stories” that communicate what’s working, what’s not, and where to focus next.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Translate data into clear narratives for executive and cross-functional audiences.
- Serve as the analytical voice in roadmap, pricing, and promotion discussions.
- Drive alignment across Product, Marketing, and Data on the metrics that matter most.
Qualifications:
- Strong SQL proficiency (BigQuery or Redshift) and ability to self-serve complex analyses.
- Hands-on experience with Segment, Braze, Shopify, and GA4 data ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of A/B testing, lifecycle marketing, and product funnels.
- Strong communication skills—able to tell the story behind the numbers and drive action.
- Bias toward iteration, experimentation, and measurable impact.
Nice-to-Have
- Background in SaaS, ecommerce, or subscription-based software.
- Familiarity with dbt, Python, or Looker Studio.
- Experience defining and building logic for marketing attribution, LTV modeling, and monetization strategy.
- Passion for music technology and creative tools.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in growth product management, analytics or experimentation roles.
