About the role
The Head of Product plays a pivotal role in driving the company's product strategy and development. You will be responsible for leading a team of talented product managers and designers. The Head of Product will be working closely with Marketing and Engineering to create innovative and user-friendly products that meet the evolving needs of our business.
What you'll do
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with Unlock's overall business objectives.
- Product Roadmap: Create and manage a detailed product roadmap that outlines the vision, features, and timeline for product development.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of talented product managers and designers fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Customer Focus: Deeply understand our customers' needs and pain points to ensure our products deliver exceptional value.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for product innovation.
- Product Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Metrics and Analytics: Track and analyze product performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales) to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Product Management, a related field, or suitable industry experience.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of leading product development teams and delivering successful products.
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and best practices.
- Excellent understanding of split testing, user research, metrics and analytics.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product development tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Passion for innovation and a customer-centric mindset.
- Experience working with home equity investment products or real estate-related technologies preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial services industry preferred.

Target base compensation is $270,000 annually. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
